What are the responsibilities and job description for the Golf Outside Services position at MetroWest Golf Club?
- Customer service: Greeting and welcoming customers, and providing a friendly farewell when they leave
- Golf bag handling: Retrieving golf bags from vehicles, loading and unloading them onto carts, and storing them in the bag drop area
- Golf cart maintenance: Preparing, operating, and performing light maintenance on golf carts, including washing and refilling them
- Practice facility operations: Setting up, monitoring, and breaking down practice facility operations
- Club cleaning: Cleaning golf clubs after play and returning them to the bag drop or vehicle
- Grounds maintenance: Maintaining the grounds of the players' entrance, staging area, driving range, tee green, Pro Shop, and more
- Safety: Complying with safety procedures and policies, and reporting any damage or concerns to the Golf Pro
- Cart availability: Coordinating with the Pro Shop Attendant to ensure carts are available and that guests are following the rules
- Pace of play: Managing the pace of play
- Junior golf programs: Helping with Junior Golf programs
- Cart barn: Opening the cart barn and bag room doors, turning off the alarm, and turning on the ligh
