Qualifications And Requirements
Works under direct supervision and must be able to demonstrate safe work habits and proper care of tools and equipment. Assists with materials handling, installation of materials, devices and equipment
Specific Tasks Include
- Identify and eliminate hazardous conditions at the job site
- Maintain the job site in a safe, neat and orderly condition
- Handle and stage materials, equipment and tools
- Assist with sprinkler system layout and installation
- May be required to operate heavy equipment
- Operate cutting and threading machine (Rigid 300)
- Assist with cable tray installations, device installations, and lighting connections
- Receive On-the-job learning (OJL) as part of the apprenticeship program
- Attend class & make satisfactory progress with apprenticeship program completion
- Safely operate hand and power tools
- Possess the ability to read and interpret instructions, sprinkler drawings, & manuals
- Positive safety attitude and personal integrity
- Legally operate company vehicles and equipment
- Job requires working in all elements (rain, snow, heat, etc.)
- Must keep work tools with them at all times (tape measure, channel lock pliers, level, etc.)
- Use all types of ladders including step ladders up to 14’feet, “A” Frame and all size extension ladders and relocate a 12’ ladder by one’s self
- Perform work at various heights, up to 90’ from ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, and cat walks and be able to work in restricted areas
- Wear protective personal equipment (PPE)

Qualifications And Requirements
- Minimum age of 18
- Provide I-9 documents to establish work eligibility
- Evidence of High School Diploma or GED; high school transcript, if necessary
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- DD 214 (if veteran)
- Must be able to successfully pass a drug test, physical and background check
- Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, push, pull & reach overhead
- Able to work at least 40 hour weeks and overtime and night shift, as needed
- Lift at least 50 pounds
- Constant moving on your feet
- Climb ladders of all types
