Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Yard Hand to join our team! In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for maintaining, organization, and overall operation of our warehouse and surrounding yard.
Responsibilities
- Assist with unloading and reloading of flatbed trucks with structural steel or construction equipment
- Maintain the cleanliness of the yard by sweeping, trash removal, and organizing equipment and supplies
- Safely operate company vehicles for yard maintenance or transport purposes when needed
Requirements
Ability to speak and write fluently in the English language
Physical ability to work on his or her feet for extended periods, and lift minor construction hand tools as well as wood blocking and dunnage
Ability to work well in a team with others, as well as take instruction from supervision
Ability to work starting daily @ 7:00 am
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
