Role Description: This is an installer role based in West Sacramento, California, United States. The Installer will assemble, install, and reconfigure modular office furniture, fixtures, and related equipment at customer locations, ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule. Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting installation plans or floor layouts, loading and unloading materials, preparing work areas, and using hand and power tools to complete installations. The Installer will inspect completed work for quality, communicate with team members and supervisors about project status, and interact professionally with customers on-site. Additional duties may include assisting with office moves, packing and unpacking items, maintaining tools and equipment, and following all company safety and security procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience with furniture or equipment installation, assembly, or related trades, including the safe use of hand and power tools.
- Ability and willingness to perform both installer and mover responsibilities, including office relocations, commercial and household moves, furniture moving, loading and unloading trucks, packing and unpacking, and modular furniture installation, reconfiguration, and deinstallation.
- Ability to read and follow floor plans, diagrams, and written instructions, with strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy items; stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods; and work safely in varied on-site environments.
- Reliable time management, organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team on fast-paced projects.
- Effective communication and customer service skills, with a professional and respectful approach at client sites.
- Prior experience in moving, logistics, commercial installations, or furniture systems is preferred; familiarity with modular office furniture is a plus.
- Must be flexible and willing to travel to various job sites throughout Northern California as business needs require.
