Position Details:
- Shift: Split shift Monday-Friday
- Hours: Availability required between 5:30 AM - 5:30 PM (flexible within this window)
- Positions start at the beginning of the 2025 school year: Interview & Training are completed ASAP

Route Information:
- Routes: typically range from 25-35 hours per week.
- Home Base: Fridley, MN - all routes start out of this location
- You may be assigned to routes in the following communities and school districts:
- Minneapolis, Bloomington, Richfield, Anoka-Hennepin, Mounds View, Osseo, White Bear Lake, Edina, Minnetonka, Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, and various charter schools.
Key Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be available to work both AM and PM routes Monday-Friday.
- Must pass pre-employment drug testing and a criminal background check.
- Strong English communication skills are required.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have excellent attendance.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Ensure Student Safety: Your primary responsibility is to ensure the safety of all students during their bus rides. Help children board and un-board the bus safely and assist the bus driver as needed.
- Maintain Order: Monitor student behavior and enforce safety rules on the bus. Complete documentation for any behavioral issues and report to the appropriate administrator.
- Customer Service Excellence: Work closely with school staff, families, and students to provide a positive experience and excellent service.
- Assist with Vehicle Safety and Cleanliness: Help maintain the bus interior to ensure it remains clean, safe, and well-organized.
- Emergency Preparedness: Be ready to act in case of an emergency, including safely evacuating students if necessary.
- Additional Duties: Be prepared to assist with other tasks assigned by your manager as needed.
Minimum Performance Expectations:
- Safety First: Always exercise the greatest care in the transportation of school children. Ensure students are properly secured and follow child restraint device procedures.
- Behavior Management: Follow student management protocols and work with students to ensure a positive and safe environment on the bus.
- Ongoing Learning: Attend monthly staff meetings and actively learn student names to help create a more personalized experience for the children you serve.
