Los Angeles based Metropolitan Theatre Corporation has been a privately held company owned by the Corwin family since 1923. Metropolitan currently operates a diverse collection of historic properties and state-of-the-art multiplexes among its 10 theatres in California and Colorado. Metropolitan is focused on achieving its next generation growth plan through new development, theatre acquisitions, and providing theatre management services.
Job Description
- Respond to guest comments and criticism in a positive manner, viewing such opportunities to build guest loyalty.
- Assist in creating an environment that consistently provides high levels of service to our guests.
- Monitor sales activities to ensure that our guests receive excellent service and quality goods.
- Resolve guest concerns regarding service, films, concession products, condition of facility, their overall experience and more.
- Perform opening and closing procedures. Oversee the daily operations of the theatre. Handle tasks such as counting money, making deposits, balancing cash drawers and performing nightly and weekly inventories.
- Proficient in all the functions of the POS system.
- Train staff in all aspects of company policies and procedures.
- Management of all marketing materials.
- Enforce safety, health, and security policies and procedures.
- Handle floor operations such as allocating resources effectively, recognizing and anticipating problems, and reacting quickly to provide solutions.
- Projection booth operations, including the ability to properly operate, maintain and troubleshoot digital projection systems.
- Complete reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Delegate projects and assignments to others, and follow up to insure accurate and timely completion.
- Ability to adapt to changes and take on new responsibilities with a positive attitude.
Job Requirements
- Must possess excellent communication skills.
- Must be a team player and have good leadership qualities.
- Hours to include nights, weekends and holidays.
- 1 or more years in customer service
- 3 months in a team leadership role
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.75 - $19.00 per hour
