The Role
The Security Guard is responsible to take proactive steps to provide a safe and secure working environment to staff and visitors at their assigned location.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Regularly patrolling and monitoring activities on the building's premises
- Overseeing the entrance and departure of employees, visitors and other personel according to protocols
- Following survelliance protocols and opperating CCTV equipment
- Must have interpersonal skills interacting with a variety of persons including: clients, visitors, public safety officials, employees and the general public
- Provides customer service in accordance with company established standards and expectations.
- A working knowledge of commercial and corporate environments
- Understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Prepare and submit incident reports.
- Standing and walking for long periods of time
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with our policies and applicable City & State laws.
- Maintain a professional attitude with all interactions with clients, employees and security officers.
- Must have valid F-O1 (Panel Impairment) and F-04 (Temp Place Assembly)
- Must have a valid NYS Security Guard License.
