Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Armed Security Officer located in Baltimore, MD. The Armed Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a visible presence to deter illegal activities, patrolling assigned areas, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings and access points, and granting or denying access as necessary. The officer will also perform security checks, report incidents and suspicious behavior, and respond promptly to emergencies to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
We are hiring for all shifts, some weekend availability required. Full-time and part-time opportunities available.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid Maryland Gun Permit and Security Guard Card
- Must have your own duty weapon
- Proficiency in surveillance equipment monitoring, patrolling, and building inspection.
- Ability to grant or deny access, perform security checks, and report incidents.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to respond promptly to emergencies.
- MPCTC certification in security guard training, handcuffing, baton use, and OC spray is preferred.
- Experience in providing naloxone and CPR certification is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and remain vigilant at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional training and certifications are advantageous.
