Job Title: X-Ray Tech (PRN)
Schedule:
- Tuesday & Fridays for the first 4 weeks,
- Last week of July, between 24-40 hours of coverage needed
- PRN after
West Michigan Orthopedics, a respected independent orthopedic practice, is seeking a Per Diem X-Ray Technician to support its clinical team on an as-needed basis. This is a job-share position with core coverage needs on Tuesdays and Fridays, with additional shifts available to cover for the job-share partner or other absences.
This role offers a great opportunity for a flexible and dependable technician looking to work in a daytime-only outpatient setting no nights, weekends, or holidays required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-Ray equipment.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging exams with an emphasis on safety and comfort.
- Operate equipment following established safety and quality standards.
- Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and coordinate with physicians as needed.
- Maintain accurate and compliant patient records.
- Keep equipment and work areas clean and well-maintained.
- Educate patients about imaging procedures and provide support throughout the process.
- Assist with occasional phone coverage and general clinic duties.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- ARRT certification preferred (equivalent education or experience will be considered).
- Comfortable using EMRs and general computer systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Prior orthopedic imaging experience is helpful but not required.
- Reliable and adaptable, with a professional, team-oriented attitude.
