Metropolitan Healthcare Services (MHS), a leading healthcare support services provider throughout the nation is looking for Valet Attendants for our INOVA Fairfax location. *
Successful candidates should be able to start immediately and be able to pass pre-employment requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Comply with traffic regulations to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.
- Professional and helpful demeanor with all patients, visitors, co-workers and clients.
- Acknowledges, greets, and welcomes all patients/ visitors, using appropriate protocols.
- Assists patients/visitors with loading and unloading belongings, providing directions and general assistance as needed.
- Before taking any vehicle, assesses and documents any vehicle damage.
- Records the location of the parking space as well as the number on the valet ticket.
- Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures to patients and visitors upon arrival.
- Immediately report any accidents to manager or Lane Captain on duty.
- Maintains safe, clean and neat work environment by following standards and procedures.
- Maintains strict confidentiality related to work information (in accordance with HIPAA).
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
- Valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
- Able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
- Must pass background and drug screening
- Must be able to push and pull (on wheelchair) 100 to 350 pounds.
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for customer service and attention to detail.
