What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crosswalk Monitor position at METROPOLITAN HEALTH CARE SERVICE INC?
Under the supervision of a Manager or Team Lead, the Crosswalk Monitor is responsible for ensuring the safety of customers and clients while crossing the street. The Crosswalk Monitor provides courteous, reliable, and efficient customer services while enforcing safety rules relative to the area of responsibility. The Crosswalk Monitor assists in keeping the traffic flow moving and is expected to assist and provide directions to customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensures awareness of actions and objects within the specified area.

Maintains appearance appropriate for providing best-in-class customer service in accordance with established guidelines.

Keeps the traffic flow moving to avoid traffic delays, directing traffic as needed.

Monitors the pedestrian traffic on either side of the road

Assists in maintaining location and individual work area appearance according to facility standards.

Knows and follows safety rules relative to area(s) of responsibility.

Uses two-way radio to request assistance and information when necessary.

Provides information and directions to people in the area.

Maintains safe, clean and neat work environment by following standards and procedures.

Maintains strict confidentiality related to work information (in accordance with HIPAA).

Performs other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent experience

Must be able to work legally in the United States.

Must pass background and drug screenings.

Able to speak, read, and write English fluently and convey information effectively.

Required to meet immunization or health screening requirements.

Ability to demonstrate professionalism, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
