Job Description:
We are hiring dependable, safety-focused CDL Class A drivers to support our environmental and industrial services operations. This position primarily supports the Industrial Services group but may also assist clients directly. Drivers will operate roll-off trucks, vacuum trucks, and tractors with various trailer types. Travel is minimal, and most jobs are performed during regular daytime hours, Monday through Saturday.

Position: CDL A Driver-Equipment Operator
Job Type: Full Time 40-60 hours per week and overtime
Location: Columbus, OH
Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour (Negotiable based on experience)
$1,000 Bonus at 90 Days and 180 Days

Job Duties:
- Safely operate roll-off trucks, vacuum trucks, and tractors with van, flatbed, or specialty trailers
- Transport non-hazardous materials and equipment to and from job sites, client facilities, and disposal centers
- Conduct and document pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT and company policies
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment, ensuring secure and compliant transport
- Maintain accurate driver logs and required documentation
- Follow all safety procedures and site-specific requirements while working under the direction of the Site Supervisor
Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class A license (manual transmission experience strongly preferred)
- CDL Class A with current HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements is preferred and will come with pay increase.
- Tanker endorsement required
- Minimum 3 years of verifiable commercial driving experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions performing physical labor
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must pass DOT physical, company drug screening, and background check
- No OMVI/DUI/DWI or reckless driving convictions within the past 2 years
- No license suspensions or major violations in the past 3 years
- No more than 2 speeding tickets or 4 total moving violations in the past 3 years
- Willingness to comply with all company and client safety and operational policies
- Flexibility to work some weekends and occasional travel based on project needs
Supervisory and Safety Job Functions:
- Ensure on-site personnel and support staff comply with all aspects of client & company policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with the client and other employees and management.
- Ensure the Health & Safety concerns of on-site personnel are met.
- Perform the necessary & required supervisory tasks (such as conducting daily safety briefings, and documenting routine and monthly inspections.
