What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper position at Metropolitan Dermatology?
Requirements:
- Proficient with Quickbooks and pivot tables
- Minimum 5 years of accounting AND general ledger experience - required
- Bachelor of Science, Concentration in Accounting - required
- Dependable, adaptable/flexible, detail oriented, independent, works well with others in a fast paced environment, creative and proactive
Job Description:
- Cash management, data management reporting and bank reconciliation
- Manage tenant and rent activity notification and reporting
- Prepare account analysis and reconciliation of balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Provide explanations for budget to actual variances and provide explanation for cost increase from prior month activity
- Maintain workpapers and journal entries in an organized manner. Record entries timely and accurately.
- Manage and report inventory by location
- Prepare provider commission payroll report monthly
- Update and reconcile monthly statements from payroll and benefit vendors
- Complete special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
