Duties

• Respond promptly to emergency calls and situations, providing assistance and ensuring safety for all individuals involved
• Conduct patrols of neighborhoods, public areas, and assigned districts to deter crime and observe suspicious activity
• Assist in criminal investigations by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and documenting incidents accurately through detailed report writing
• Apply first aid and CPR when necessary to stabilize injured persons until medical professionals arrive
• Use surveillance equipment and conduct security checks to monitor activity and prevent unlawful behavior
• Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate tensions
• Enforce laws related to traffic, loss prevention, etc. while maintaining respectful interactions with the public

Experience

• Prior experience in military service or security roles is highly valued for understanding discipline and operational procedures
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in high-pressure situations
• Knowledge of law enforcement practices, including criminal investigation techniques and report writing standards
• Familiarity with driving laws, vehicle operation, and maintaining a valid driver’s license is essential for patrol duties
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with diverse populations and collaboration with colleagues

Pay: From $53,206.40 per year
