The Clinical Dietitian performs activities related to nutritional management/education of infant through adult patients for assigned divisions. Oversees the activities of diet technicians, dietetic interns, and dining service assistants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements nutrition education programs targeted at hospital staff members.
- Maintains professional competencies.
- Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics from an institution approved/accredited by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
- Currently a Registered Dietitian (RD) through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in stressful environments.
