Shift: 8am to 5pm

Summary:
Accountable and responsible for all aspects of supply chain analytics for assigned function. Analyzes supply chain operations to improve processes, performance, and to reduce costs and waste. Works with departments within and outside of Supply Chain. May perform buying and purchasing responsibilities (purchase order placement, obtaining quotes, and expediting deliveries) for inventory as well as for other functional areas within the health system. Evaluates point of use systems, with a focus on the optimization of integrated systems and optimizing the process flow. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field. In lieu of degree, will consider 4 years of relevant Supply Chain experience. Familiarity with supply chain/ERP systems. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Possesses strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills. Excellent mathematical, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to positively interact with various constituencies, both within and outside the organization.
Preferred: Previous experience in a health care environment. Lean certification or related work experience. Advanced computer analytical skills and experience in Access, Crystal reporting, and/or SQL.
Physical Demands: May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating. May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job related documents. Ability to use computer. Ability to travel to and from multiple MetroHealth locations. Ability to push/pull 50 pounds when assigned to the operating room.
