Turf Manager

We are recruiting an experienced Turf Manager to manage our turf care program and ensure the year-round health and appearance of our residential Clients' lawns. This leadership position involves planning, supervising two Spray Technicians, providing turf maintenance services, and using your expertise to diagnose and resolve turf health issues.

What You Will Do:

1. Develop and implement seasonal turf care programs including fertilization, weed, insect, and disease control
2. Supervise and support two (2) Spray Technicians in daily operations
3. Monitor turf health and adjust treatment plans as needed
4. Train and mentor field employees on turf care techniques and best practices
5. Communicate directly with our Clients regarding lawn health and service schedules
6. Maintain inventory of products and ensure proper storage and handling
7. Keep detailed application and treatment records
8. Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and treatment innovations
9. Other tasks or projects as needed

What You Will Bring To The Job:

1. 3 years of turf management or lawn care experience required
2. Strong understanding of turfgrass types, pest management, and soil science
3. Pesticide Applicator license for North Carolina is required
4. Supervisory experience
5. Excellent organizational and communication skills
6. Proficiency in record-keeping, reporting, and working with a laptop or PC
7. Valid driver’s license with good driving record
