Job Summary: A Home Health Aide is recognized as a responsible individual who has been trained to provide home health aide, personal care and homemaking services necessary to maintain a disabled or dependent person in safety and comfort of their own home.
Responsibilities:
· To assist in performance of Activities of Daily Living and Instrumental activities of Daily Living per Registered Nurse established plan of care to enable the patient/client to remain in the community safely, free from falls and hospitalizations.
· To submit paperwork in a timely manner according to agency policy and procedure.
Qualifications:
· Certified Home Health Aide or Certified Nurse Assistant;
· Has the emotional and mental maturity necessary for establishing and maintaining a good work relationship with the client, client’s family and the personnel of the agency.
Physical Requirements:
· Hear and speak in a manner understood by most people
· Stoop and bend
· Travel to prospective client’s residence
· Climb stairs
Special Requirements:
· Must have valid state Driver License and reliable transportation with current automobile insurance
· Must be willing to work at various hours
· Must attend and participate in continuing educational programs as they relate to job responsibilities.
Job Types: Part-time, Per diem
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
