Outside Sales Representative (Food & Beverage Hunter)

Metro Wholesale SD, one of San Diego's most flexible grocery and beverage wholesalers, is looking for a true Sales Hunter. We've built our reputation by offering what others won't: no minimum order quantities and next-day delivery.

This is not a typical "account manager" role. We are looking for a performance-driven salesperson to aggressively hunt and close new accounts (restaurants, cafes, independent markets, etc.).

We believe in radical transparency and paying our reps for the profit they drive.

We reward our reps for smart selling, not just high revenue.

• Base Salary: $30,000 / year ($2,500 per month)
• Uncapped Commission: 30% of all Gross Profit you generate.
• On-Target Earnings (OTE): $120,000 (A rep selling $100k/month with our margins hits $120,000/yr in earned income. There is no cap.

You will be able to close deals that competitors can't, allowing you to start earning significant commissions from day one.

• Prospect, cold call, and build a pipeline of new B2B customers in San Diego County.
• Aggressively pursue new business by developing a provided list of target accounts and prospecting for new B2B customers in San Diego County.
• Present Metro Wholesale SD's unique value (no minimums, next-day delivery) to owners and managers.
• Onboard new clients and build the relationships that turn them into high-volume accounts.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales and profit targets.
• Manage your own schedule and territory to maximize efficiency.

• A "Hunter" Mentality: You are self-motivated, resilient, and thrive on closing new business.
• Proven Experience: 2 years of B2B outside sales experience, preferably in the food, beverage, CPG, or wholesale distribution industry.
• Local Knowledge: You must be based in San Diego County and have reliable transportation.
• An Entrepreneurial Spirit: You are excited by an uncapped, profit-based commission plan and the opportunity to build your own "business within a business."
• (Preferred) Bilingual in English and Spanish is a major plus.
