Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Account Executive role based in Concord, NC. The Sales Account Executive will manage and grow a portfolio of customers by identifying new business opportunities, conducting outreach, and following up on leads. Daily responsibilities include meeting with prospective and existing clients, understanding their equipment and service needs, preparing proposals, and negotiating contract terms. The role also includes coordinating with internal operations, maintenance, and delivery teams to ensure timely fulfillment and a high level of customer satisfaction. The Sales Account Executive will maintain accurate records in the CRM, provide sales forecasts, and represent Metro Trailer Leasing at customer visits, industry events, and local networking activities.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in Lead Generation, including prospecting, pipeline development, and follow-up on inbound and outbound opportunities.
- Experience in Account Management, with the ability to manage multiple accounts, grow revenue, and ensure ongoing customer engagement.
- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, presentation abilities, and effective listening.
- Demonstrated Relationship Building capabilities, with a focus on trust, long-term partnerships, and collaborative problem-solving.
- Customer Service skills, with a commitment to responsiveness, issue resolution, and delivering a positive customer experience.
- Prior sales experience in transportation, logistics, equipment leasing, or a related B2B environment preferred.
