Metro Title is looking for a candidate who is dynamic, organized and people-oriented for a position that works closely with commercial real property attorneys and paralegals to underwrite title insurance policies for commercial real estate transactions.
Required Qualifications:
· Strong communication skills (both written and verbal);
· Good people skills to work with customers (attorneys and paralegals) and co-workers;
· Strong organizational skills, strong time-management skills and obsessive attention to detail;
· Bachelor’s Degree, Juris Doctor Degree or Associate’s Degree,
· A background as a title insurance underwriter or real estate paralegal.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Proficiency with SoftPro;
· Paralegal Certificate.
Job Duties:
· Review, interpret and underwrite title opinions and supporting documents from North Carolina attorneys to issue title commitments and title policies; and,
· Review, interpret and underwrite land surveys.
