On-Site Logistics Specialist I (Stillwater, OK)

Metro Tech Electric, Inc. is seeking an On-site Logistics Support employee to assist construction crews by moving tools, materials, equipment, and supplies throughout the job site. This role helps ensure workers have the items they need when they need them, assists with loading and unloading deliveries, maintains organized work areas, and performs other duties as assigned to support the job site.

Essential Functions:

Essential Functions of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

• Transports tools, materials, equipment, and supplies throughout the job site as needed to support field operations.
• Delivers materials and equipment to designated crews, work areas, and staging locations.
• Assists with receiving, unloading, inspecting, and distributing job-site deliveries.
• Loads, unloads, moves, and organizes construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Maintains organized material storage, laydown, and staging areas.
• Assists with tracking materials, tools, equipment, and deliveries to help ensure items are available when needed.
• Communicates with supervisors, field employees, and project managers regarding material and equipment needs.
• Retrieves materials, tools, or supplies from designated storage areas and deliver them to crews throughout the project.
• Assists with the movement and setup of equipment, carts, gang boxes, and other job-site resources.
• Reads and interpret maps, work site directions, and written instructions.
• Maintains compliance with company policies and procedures
• Maintains compliance with all OSHA, Company, and customer-specific safety requirements.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned

Requirements Skills/Abilities:

• High School Diploma or GED
• No prior logistics work expperience required
• Dependable (Attendance and Punctuality)
• Must have a good attitude and be willing to work with other team members
• Must be hard working and have the drive and determination to complete the task at hand
• Must be dependable and willing to complete the project at hand from start to finish

Physical Demands and Working Environment:

· Position requires working indoors and outdoors, while being exposed to all elements (Heat, Cold, Wind, Rain, etc.)

· Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring

· Lift up to 50lbs from ground and pull 50lbs of force.

· Fully squat, stoop or kneel for extended periods of time.

· Maintain a standing position for long periods of time while performing repetitive actions

· Comfortable and able to work at various heights. Work off ladders, scissor lifts, booms.

· Able to see colors to discern color-coded wiring.

· Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and other job-related equipment, requiring adequate manual dexterity, grip strength, and hand-eye coordination.

Schedule:

· Work Schedule: Between the hours of 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. May vary based on customer demands and can include, but is not limited to nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
