Summary
We are currently seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator in Columbus, Ohio to join our team. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Inventory Control Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy through robust cycle-count processes, continuous training of users and transaction audits.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform cycle counts; identify and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Conduct physical inventory per client request
- Communicate with shipping, warehouse, and kitting team and returns about inventory issues
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels on our WMS system
- Report inventory accuracy status to management
- Must be attentive to any email inquiries: stock variances, dock/location searches; adjustment request
- Monitor replenishment tasks on our WMS system and ensure stock is available for picking an order
- Execute quarantine and/or destruction of product when directed
- Ensure all product receipts are tagged properly
- Ensure all racking is labelled correctly
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Provide feedback to manager on the operations and employees
- Maintain warehouse sanitation practices; clean, organized, and safe environment
- Demonstrate respect for the Company’s values daily, maintain and uphold all policies & procedures
- Assumes additional related responsibilities as required
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or completion of GED
- Minimum 2 years hands on experience in Inventory Control using a Warehouse Management System
- Minimum of two (2) years previous Inventory Coordinating experience, preferably in a Warehouse environment
