Responsibilities
- Ensure all meat products are handled in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the meat preparation area and equipment.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Provide knowledgeable customer service by answering questions about meat products and offering cooking advice.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
- Follow proper knife handling techniques to ensure safety while cutting and preparing meat.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations related to meat handling.
- Proficient in using various kitchen tools, including knives, saws, and grinders.
