Responsibilities

• Monitor security cameras and surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety across the premises.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property, including buildings, parking areas, and perimeter fences, to identify potential security threats or hazards.
• Control access points using advanced access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations of visitors, contractors, and employees.
• Respond promptly to emergencies by executing established emergency response procedures, including fire safety protocols and medical incidents.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or unusual occurrences with clarity and accuracy.
• Perform background checks on new personnel as part of the onboarding process to ensure compliance with security regulations.
• Manage conflict de-escalation techniques when addressing disputes or disruptive behavior while maintaining professionalism and safety.

Experience

• Prior experience in security or law enforcement roles is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to operate CCTV systems, fire alarm systems, AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators), Taser devices, and firearms handling where applicable.
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures including first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED operation, and basic firefighting techniques.
• Familiarity with manual handling practices for heavy lifting and physical security measures.
• Proven skills in conflict management, loss prevention strategies, and performing background checks.
• Strong understanding of security regulations, compliance standards, and best practices in physical security management.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences while maintaining authority and professionalism.
