Duties
- Greet customers promptly and courteously as they approach the counter or on the phone
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Handle cash transactions with precision and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Maintain cleanliness of the service area, including bussing tables and cleaning workstations
- Assist with food safety and sanitation protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Manage time efficiently during busy periods to serve customers quickly without sacrificing quality
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, quick service, or retail environments is a plus but definitely not required
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
