The RoleThe Service Drive Manager leads the front line of the service department, ensuring a seamless customer experience while driving advisor performance, operational efficiency, and accountability. This role requires someone who can manage people, process, and pace—simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations of the service drive to ensure smooth workflow and minimal bottlenecks
- Lead, coach, and develop service advisors with a focus on productivity, CSI, and consistency
- Leverage Reynolds and Reynolds to manage ROs, monitor performance, and improve efficiency
- Ensure accurate write-ups, estimates, and documentation within Reynolds
- Set clear expectations for professionalism, urgency, and customer communication
- Resolve escalated customer concerns quickly and effectively
- Coordinate with technicians, dispatch, and management to maintain proper flow
- Use data, reports, and KPIs to drive continuous improvement
- Automotive service leadership or senior advisor experience required
- Strong working knowledge of Reynolds and Reynolds (this is a significant advantage)
- Proven ability to coach and hold teams accountable
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
- Organized, process-driven, and detail-oriented
