Experienced Professional House Cleaner

Metro Maids Des Moines is hiring experienced professional residential cleaners for full-time and part-time opportunities throughout the Des Moines metro area, including Ankeny, Altoona, Clive, Des Moines, Grimes, Johnston, Urbandale, Waukee, and West Des Moines.

Many of our cleaners earn $25 per hour including tips and bonuses.

Requirements:

• 2 years of paid house cleaning experienced is required
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Must be dependable and detail-oriented
• Must speak English (conversational okay)
• Have your own reliable transportation and cleaning supplies
• Smartphone with internet access
• Must have or be willing to get General Liability Insurance (very quick process; roughly $40/month)This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Contractors provide their own cleaning supplies and equipment.

Already have your own clients? Many of our cleaners use Metro Maids to fill gaps in their schedule and increase their income.

Responsibilities:

• Routine, deep, and move-in/move-out cleanings for residential homes
• Clean and sanitize residential properties, including bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and bedrooms.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and checklists to ensure consistent quality.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and address any concerns.
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while representing the company.

Start date: ASAP (Interview and background screening take between 5-7 days)
