What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operators position at Metro Industrial Services?

Duties for this position include:
- Unloading, unpacking, and inspecting incoming shipments for damage or defects
- Verify the accuracy of the products against packing lists, purchase orders, or delivery notes
- Storing materials and restocking shelves
- Preparing orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in the delivery area
- Processing and loading orders to complete shipments
- Maintaining related records and files as assigned
- Operating a variety of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts, and dollies
- Identify any irregularities that are not compliant with work instructions and control plans regarding the work environment, production process, raw materials, and the quality of semi-finished products
- Inspect the equipment according to the equipment features inspection guide
- Work in a team environment and effectively communicate throughout the organization
- Ensure strict compliance with quality and safety regulations and standards
