Sales Associate

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. The Sales Associate will provide excellent customer service, assist customers with their purchases, answer incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and support the day-to-day operations of the store. This position also includes assisting with loading customer purchases and unloading incoming shipments.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional assistance in a retail environment.
• Assist customers with product questions, selections, purchases, and general needs.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and direct customers to the appropriate resources.
• Schedule customer appointments and maintain accurate appointment information.
• Follow up with customers regarding appointments, purchases, inquiries, and other outstanding needs.
• Assist customers with loading purchased products into their vehicles.
• Receive and unload incoming shipments and merchandise.
• Help organize, stock, and maintain merchandise in the retail area and storage areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Process sales and assist with other general retail duties as needed.
• Work cooperatively with other team members to provide an excellent customer experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional, and helpful attitude.
• Reliable and dependable with good attendance.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Comfortable answering phones and communicating with customers in person and by telephone.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, load, and unload merchandise.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn company-specific software and systems.
