Responsibilities
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading daily gymnastics instruction, games, and camp activities• Teaching foundational gymnastics skills through fun, structured lessons• Supervising campers throughout the day, ensuring a safe and positive environment• Creating engaging activities that keep campers active, excited, and learning• Building positive relationships with campers, parents, and fellow staff• Assisting with setup and breakdown of equipment and camp spaces• Keeping safety a top priority on the gym floor and during all activities• Staying active — this is a high-energy, on-your-feet role!
Qualifications
Your Schedule:
Camp Dates: June 29 – August 21
- Monday–Friday from 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM and/or 12:00 PM – 3:30 PM• Limited shifts may be available as early as 7:30 AM and as late as 5:00 PM• Opportunities for additional hours depending on enrollment and performance
What It Takes:
- A love for working with kids and bringing high energy every day• Reliable, safety-minded, and professional with strong communication skills• Ability to work a consistent weekday schedule during the summer season• Comfortable leading groups of children in a structured, active environment• Previous coaching, camp counseling, or gymnastics experience is a plus, but not required — we provide paid training!
Fine Print
A few requirements to note:• Ability to see and hear clearly 20 yards away• Ability to provide sustained attention to campers throughout the day• Ability to stand, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb onto equipment to assist athletes• Ability to spot a gymnast, including lifting/carrying a minimum of 50 pounds• Ability to move equipment, including pushing/pulling at least 50 pounds• Must have reliable transportation• Must be able to commit to a consistent summer schedule — our campers rely on you!
Pay Range
USD $16.30 - USD $17.00 /Hr.Pay and Perks
