Fence Installer

Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Fence Installer role based in Louisville, KY. The Fence Installer will measure and prepare job sites, dig post holes, mix and pour concrete, and install fences made from materials such as wood, chain link, vinyl, and ornamental aluminum. Daily tasks include loading and unloading materials, using hand and power tools, assembling fence panels, setting posts, and ensuring that installations meet company quality and safety standards. The role also involves reading basic layouts or instructions, collaborating with crew members, communicating respectfully with customers on-site, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The Fence Installer may assist with maintenance or repair of existing fences and help with equipment care and inventory as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting heavy materials, working outdoors in varying weather, and standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
• Basic construction or carpentry skills preferred, including measuring, reading simple site plans, and using common hand and power tools safely.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship, ensuring straight lines, secure posts, and clean, professional installations.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions, work respectfully with others, and interact professionally with customers.
• Reliable transportation to work, and consistent punctuality.
• Willingness to follow all safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Previous fencing, landscaping, or construction experience is helpful but not required; on-the-job training may be provided.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
