Your Role:
We are on the hunt for an experienced Web Developer with advanced knowledge of the WordPress platform to become a key player in our expanding team. The perfect candidate will excel in front-end and back-end development and thrive in a team-oriented environment. Reporting directly to our Creative Director, you will be instrumental in scaling our operations to meet our clients’ growing needs.
Responsibilities:
- Front-End and Back-End Development: Develop, maintain, and enhance websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and WordPress.
- API Integrations and Performance Optimization: Implement and manage API integrations, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of websites.
- Technical Troubleshooting and Support: Provide robust technical support and problem-solving solutions as issues arise.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Creative Director and other team members to deliver top-notch web solutions.
- Project Management: Assist in managing project timelines and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, and WordPress.
- Familiarity with frameworks like Bootstrap and Foundation.
- Working knowledge of Elementor (other page builders are a plus, but not a requirement)
- Working knowledge of Advanced Custom Fields(ACF) and other commonly used plugins like Gravity Forms and WP Rocket.
- Strong understanding of responsive development, SEO best practices, accessibility best practices, performance optimization, and analytics tools.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, semantic code, and translate designs into functional websites accurately.
- Shopify experience is a plus.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, organization, and multitasking abilities.
- A positive team attitude and a proactive collaborative approach.
- Ability to take initiative and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
