Metro Credit Union is looking for a Senior Teller – Contact Center to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced financial institution professional who combines exceptional service skills with strong product knowledge and a passion for helping people improve their financial lives.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a primary point of contact for members through phone, chat, email, and other electronic channels.
- Open new memberships and accounts, including more complex account types such as IRAs.
- Review and process online account applications.
- Answer member questions and resolve account-related issues.
- Process account transactions and maintenance requests.
- Educate members about products, services, and digital banking tools.
- Identify opportunities to improve members' financial situations through appropriate product and service recommendations.
- Manage online service queues and ensure requests are completed accurately and timely.
- Assist with back-office and operational tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of teller, banking, credit union, or related financial institution experience.
- Strong phone, communication, and member service skills.
- Experience opening accounts and servicing deposit products.
- Knowledge of IRA accounts.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable learning and using technology in a changing environment.
- Ability to build trust and create positive member experiences.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Three to five years of related financial institution experience preferred.
- Ability to maintain knowledge of credit union products, services, policies, and applicable regulations.
- Reliable transportation and ability to work at any Metro Credit Union location as needed.

Pay: $19.50 - $23.00 per hour
