Janitor / Custodian
Location: 8 S Washington St, Sullivan IL Multiple Locations
Pay: $20.00/hr
Schedule: Full Time, Monday to Friday, Shift hours: 10am - 7pm

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in our facilities. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows instructions well, and contributes to a clean and safe environment.
Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors and surfaces
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Clean restrooms, replenish supplies, and disinfect high-touch areas
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and vents
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is needed
- Follow safety protocols and proper use of cleaning chemicals
- Perform minor maintenance and report any needed repairs
- Ensure a clean and welcoming environment for employees and visitors
Qualifications:
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to lift up to [25] lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending and standing for extended periods
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals (preferred but will train)
