ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Employee Management and Development
- Own store success and take ownership for store employees’ work-related needs, hiring, scheduling, and maintaining payroll hours in control. * Takes responsibility and accountability for your leadership results and the actions of your team. * Support your team through development, training, and mentoring, driving behaviors that will lead to employee success. * Lead by example, staying up to date on the latest products, services, complete training on time, and leadership best practices to remain an expert resource to your team. * Set daily goals for store and each sales associate. * Identify performance opportunities and take necessary action to drive improvement. * Ensure all sales associates complete training on time.
Customer Experience and Sales
- Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals. * Assist with customer-related issues that would positively impact the customer’s experience within the Metro by T-Mobile brand & expectations. * Resolve or escalate appropriately any billing or service issues. * Communicate sales challenges, offer creative solutions.
Operational Excellence
- Ensures store is audit-compliance ready per Metro by T-Mobile Exclusive Dealer Operating Standards * Ensure store is opening on time, no early closing per business hours. * Ensure all company assets including handset & accessories are secured and accounted for * Ensure Opening & Closing procedures are followed every day. * Ensure & Verify store is always clean (back room & Sales Front). – No drinks are allowed on the sales floor. No clutter and keep workstation clean. * Ensure no personal phone usage is allowed during work hours except emergency matters. * Ensure & check store has adequate supply. Ensure supply order is submitted on time per schedule. * Ensure & check store’s maintenance requirement. Send email to Operations team with pictures & details of problems. * Ensure all demo phones are fully charged and free from fingerprints. * Research operations loss and response promptly to a Weekly Operation Loss discrepancy
Communications:
- Managers are required to check store emails and HUB daily.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent sales skills and demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance standards. * Ability to motivate and lead sales associates * Ability to comply with Operational objectives and goals. * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays * Ability to work at multiple locations within district preferred * Ability to operate a personal computer, wireless equipment, copier and fax * Basic understanding of Microsoft programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, word, and Outlook * Store manager must be able to lift and move around up to 25lbs weight objects.
