Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly in both English and the second language, creating a positive shopping experience.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, providing detailed information about features and benefits.
- Process sales transactions accurately using cash registers and financial software, including cash handling and cash drawer management.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, store policies, and retail lending options to effectively inform customers.
- Handle data entry tasks related to customer accounts, loan processing, and loan collections as needed.
- Support retail store operations by managing cash transactions, balancing the cash drawer, and performing retail math calculations.
- Contribute to a team environment by collaborating with colleagues on sales strategies and customer service initiatives.
Requirements
- Previous retail sales or retail store experience is preferred; strong customer service skills are essential.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and another language to serve diverse customer needs effectively.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and financial transactions.
- Familiarity with financial software or point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently, including processing cash transactions and managing cash drawers.
- Experience or knowledge of banking, financial services, retail lending, or loan collections is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with an energetic attitude that motivates both customers and team members.
