Job Objective
The Sheet Metal Technician is responsible for performing preventive and non- preventive maintenance, alterations, and inspections functions on various customer and company aircraft, engines, and appliances.
Essential Functions
Collaborate with appropriate personnel to repair aircraft and aircraft components as required
Conduct inspections and functional tests to verify the proper operation of aircraft, aircraft systems and aircraft components using approved tools and diagnostic equipment
Consult maintenance manuals, technical publications, and manufacturer specifications to determine accurate procedures for repairs and replacements
Ensure all maintenance work is performed in compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer’s maintenance manuals, and company policies
Accurately develop and maintain records of maintenance actions, inspections, parts usage, and other documentation as required
Maintain required certifications and stay current with industry standards, procedures, and aircraft system knowledge
Perform maintenance tasks using OEM manuals, aircraft drawings, schematics, and standard symbols to accurately diagnose and repair issues
Carry out additional maintenance-related duties as assigned by the supervisor or Director of Maintenance

Walking, standing, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, kneeling, squatting for extended periods of time
Climbing heights on various equipment
Lifting up to 50 or more pounds
Must have sufficient vision and ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (High Visibility clothing, Ear protection, safety glasses) when required
Work Environment
Indoor/Outdoor environment with potential extreme hot and cold temperatures
Exposure to hazardous chemicals is possible
Moderate to loud noise level
Heavy machinery used

Full-time, 40 hours per week
Monday-Thursday 7:00 am-4:30 pm, Friday 7:00 am-12:00 pm
Overtime necessary depending on workload
