What are the responsibilities and job description for the MES Consultant position at METRIX IT SOLUTIONS INC?
Role Description:
1. Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Manufacturing Systems, or related field.
2. 10 years of experience in Manufacturing IT, with at least 5 years in GE Proficy MES design, implementation, or solution leadership.
3. Deep experience with GE Proficy Plant Apps, GE Historian, Kepware, Microsoft SQL, SSRS
4. Strong functional knowledge of manufacturing processes (discrete, batch, or continuous).
5. Demonstrated experience designing integrations between MES and ERP (SAPOracle), SCADA, historians, LIMS, QMS, and automation systems.
6. Strong experience in solution implementation, enhancements, and plant rollouts
7. Exposure to AI-enabled manufacturing use cases and analytics-driven improvements
8. Solid understanding of data modeling, process mapping, and system architecture.
9. Experience working in crossplant or global manufacturing environments.
