As a Mulesoft Architect, you will provide technical and functional services to support PeopleSoft HCM v9.2 by working with developers, apps architect, scrum master, and customers to maintain existing System integration and develop new integration functionality. You will be responsible for platform architecture, governance and strategy alignment. You will work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate functional and non-functional requirements into MuleSoft integrations. You will participate in the full application life cycle from technical design to development, testing, and deployment using MuleSoft development tools and technologies.Responsibilities:Stakeholder Engagement/ManagementEngage with stakeholders to define architecture and ensure scalability, security, and performance Effectively communicate with stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutionsManages medium to large priorities, deadlines, and deliverables proactivelyArchitect Subject Matter ExpertiseProvide consultation and recommendations for business capabilities, business process design, business intelligence design, software development design/architecture, application frameworks, and/or interfaces during the design and ongoing care of implemented solutionsLead the design, coding and implementation of complex integration solutions and establishes best practices Lead the development team to develop, test, and deploy application componentsAnalyze, solution, develop, test, debug, and deploy software according to standards in an agile environmentLead troubleshooting and optimization of high-complexity issuesConduct code reviews, performance tuning, and technical mentoring of integration developersIdentify and resolve technical design or implementation issuesGovernanceDefine and document integration architectures using MuleSoftAssist in the development of reusable assets, components, frameworks, processes to facilitate API integration for future useProvide hands-on contributions to the technical code and design documentationResponsible for documenting and ensuring approval of the application designEnsure alignment with enterprise architecture and security standardsArchitect end-to-end integration solutions using MuleSoft and related technologiesDefine API governance and lifecycle management strategiesDrive continuous improvement and adoption of best practicesRequired Skills:Experience with Peoplesoft 9.2Experience with Mulesoft Anypoint APIsHands-on experience building integrations and end to end solutionsExperience developing integrations: Batch and RealtimeExperience with application support and testingExperience with data interfaces between systemsCapable of handling challenges and efficiently managing tasksExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with users and vendorExcellent writing skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts into understandable language for various stakeholdersDesired Skills:Experience with Federal Hiring or Personnel ActionsProficient with Integration Broker, Services, Service Operations, Handlers, QueuesExpert in peoplecode and component interfacesProficient with the SoapUI tool to simulate API callsAble to work well in an agile environmentEducation: Bachelors degreeYears of Experience: 5 years' experience in architecture, design, and implementation of MuleSoft integrationClearance: Ability to obtain Public Trust High requiredAbout Metric5Metric5 is a small business with big company benefits.
