What are the responsibilities and job description for the Continuous Improvement Engineer position at Metric?
Metric are currently partnered with a large and continually growing manufacturer within Denver who are looking for a strong Continuous Improvement Engineer to join their growing engineering and manufacturing leadership at the Site.
The role will include but not limited to the below:
- Process Improvement: Identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, efficiency, quality and overall equipment effectiveness across the manufacturing site.
- Problem Solving: Lead structured problem-solving activities, using data and root-cause analysis to eliminate waste, reduce downtime and prevent recurring issues.
- Lean Manufacturing: Implement Lean Manufacturing methodologies and tools, including 5S, Kaizen, standard work and process optimisation, to drive sustainable improvements.
- Project Delivery: Lead improvement projects from initial concept through to implementation, working collaboratively with production, engineering, quality and other key stakeholders.
To be considered you must have the following:
- 2 years of manufacturing and or continuous improvement engineering experience within a manufacturing site.
- Degree educated within an Engineering field.
- Kaizen or Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
- Proven experience improving manufacturing and process systems.
