Overview
Metric Geo are currently looking for an experienced superintendent for a field leadership role responsible for managing all on-site construction activities for water and wastewater projects. Focused on delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise field teams, subcontractors, and trades
- Manage daily site operations, scheduling, and workflow coordination
- Maintain project schedule using short-term and master planning
- Track labor productivity, costs, and budget performance
- Ensure quality control and compliance with plans, specs, and regulations
- Lead safety initiatives and enforce site safety standards
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and deliveries
- Act as main on-site liaison with owners and project stakeholders
- Run coordination meetings and maintain daily reporting
- Oversee inspections, testing, and project closeout
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in construction
- Strong background in water/wastewater construction projects
- Ability to manage schedules, budgets, and field teams effectively
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
