Superintendent | Utica, NY
An established, 100% employee-owned general contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to support a strong and consistent pipeline of local projects in the Utica market.
This role is suited for a field leader with 5 years of experience overseeing construction operations for a general contractor, with a strong background in ground-up construction.
Experience delivering K-12 and/or commercial projects is highly preferred.
Project Types Include:
Academic & K-12 | Corporate | Healthcare | Hospitality | Interiors | Life Sciences | Multifamily | Mission Critical
Responsibilities:
• Lead day-to-day on-site construction activities from start through close-out
• Manage subcontractors, schedules, and site logistics
• Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, inspectors, and design teams
• Maintain site documentation, inspections, and safety compliance
Qualifications:
• 5 years of Superintendent experience with a general contractor
• Ground-up construction experience required
• K-12 and/or commercial project experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
