Quality Control Inspector – Manufacturing Operations
We’re supporting a well-established, values-driven organization within the residential construction supply chain seeking an Outbound Quality Control Inspector to join a fast-paced manufacturing and logistics operation.
This role is responsible for ensuring all outgoing materials and components are accurate, complete, and meet strict quality standards before shipment to field operations.
You’ll play a critical role in preventing issues downstream by verifying product integrity, documentation accuracy, and load readiness prior to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect lumber, trusses, doors, trim, and related building materials for quality and accuracy
- Verify materials match work orders, specifications, and shipping documentation
- Confirm correct counts, dimensions, and configurations prior to loading
- Identify and escalate defects, shortages, or inconsistencies
- Ensure loads are properly staged and safe for transport
- Maintain inspection records and communicate issues with production and logistics teams
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies quickly and effectively
