Purchasing Agent – Sarasota, FL
Our client, an established semi-custom homebuilder in the Sarasota, FL area, is seeking a Purchasing Agent to join their growing team.
In this role, you'll be responsible for purchasing and estimating for residential communities, including takeoffs, bid analysis, vendor negotiations, purchase orders, and cost analysis. You'll work closely with construction, estimating, and trade partners to ensure projects stay on budget and on schedule.
Qualifications:
- 1–5 years of purchasing and/or estimating experience
- Experience with takeoffs, estimating, vendor negotiations, and cost analysis
- Residential construction experience preferred; custom homebuilding or remodeling experience is also transferable
- Strong Excel skills required
- Experience with Constellation NewStar software preferred
- Experience with BuilderMT or other residential purchasing software is a plus
