An employee-owned engineering consulting firm is seeking a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to lead and support water resources engineering projects in their Dallas, TX office, including planning, design, project management, and specialty services for public sector clients.
This role may also contribute to broader civil engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage water resources projects from planning through construction
- Coordinate with clients, review agencies, and internal design teams
- Prepare proposals, budgets, and manage project financials
- Develop and guide construction plans and/or stormwater master planning studies
- Mentor and manage teams of engineers, including early career staff
- Apply hydrology and hydraulics expertise using HEC-RAS (1D/2D), HEC-HMS, SWMM, HY-8, and related software
- Support client relationships and participate in business development activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Minimum 10 years of water resources engineering experience, including 3 years of project management
- Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders and managing project delivery
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Preferred Skills
- Established relationships with Texas clients
- Experience with AutoCAD/Civil3D and GIS
- Construction oversight experience
- Business development experience

Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 (DOE)
