GEOLOGIST
Location: Detroit
A regional environmental consulting firm is seeking a Geologist to support due diligence and redevelopment on brownfield projects across Michigan. This role blends fieldwork, data analysis, and report preparation to help transform underutilized sites into productive community assets.
Responsibilities
- Support environmental due diligence and brownfield redevelopment projects.
- Prepare Phase I/II ESA reports and baseline assessments.
- Plan and conduct field investigations and sampling.
- Coordinate drilling, lab services, and field logistics.
- Analyze environmental data and compile results.
- Draft site investigation reports and assist with proposals.
Qualifications
- 3–8 years of environmental field and sampling experience.
- Strong writing, documentation, and data analysis skills.
- Understanding of environmental exposure pathways and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to travel and work outdoors.
- HAZWOPER and asbestos inspector credentials (preferred).
