A leading homebuilder is seeking a Director of Land Acquisition to drive growth across the Tampa market. This role will focus on sourcing, underwriting, and securing land opportunities to support the division’s expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and acquire land for residential development
- Lead due diligence, underwriting, and contract negotiations
- Build strong relationships with brokers, landowners, and municipalities
- Partner with internal teams on feasibility, budgeting, and entitlements
- Monitor market trends and maintain a strong land pipeline
Requirements:
- 5 years of land acquisition experience in homebuilding
- Proven track record of sourcing and closing land deals
- Strong financial acumen and underwriting experience
- Tampa market knowledge strongly preferred
