A leading national design-build general contractor is seeking a Design-Build Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of ground-up industrial, commercial, and specialized facility projects. This role is ideal for a detail-focused construction professional with experience managing fast-track, design-led projects from concept through completion.

- Industrial & Manufacturing Facilities

- Pharmaceutical & Life Science Facilities
- Mission-Critical & Data Center Projects
- Light Industrial, Flex, and Commercial Developments
These projects involve high coordination with structural, architectural, and MEP teams, as well as specialized vendor integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Preconstruction Management
- Lead design coordination during conceptual, schematic, and construction document phases.
- Perform constructability reviews and identify value engineering opportunities.
- Evaluate drawings/specs to ensure design alignment with project budget, schedule, and client requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and specialty consultants on technical solutions.
Project Execution Support
- Oversee submittals, RFIs, design clarifications, and change management.
- Partner with field teams to resolve design conflicts and maintain quality and safety standards.
- Track project deliverables to ensure timely completion and alignment with project goals.
Client & Stakeholder Leadership
- Serve as the primary design-build liaison for internal teams, clients, and design partners.
- Facilitate project meetings and present design progress updates.
- Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and problem-solving.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering - MUST HAVE!!!
- 5 years of design-build, construction management, or project management experience.
- Strong understanding of industrial/commercial construction methods, MEP coordination, and structural systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and design packages simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and technical problem-solving abilities.
