Seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of hyperscale and mission-critical data center projects for a growing Design-Build / General Contracting organization. This individual will be responsible for managing a project from preconstruction through turnover, with full accountability for schedule, cost, quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
This role will oversee all aspects of project execution, including design coordination, procurement, subcontractor management, and field operations. You will lead and develop project teams (APMs, Project Engineers, Superintendents) while building strong partnerships with owners, design teams, trade partners, and internal stakeholders.
This is a high-impact, growth-oriented opportunity for a professional looking to play a key role in the expansion of their Mission Critical / Data Center Division.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale data center projects through the full lifecycle: preconstruction, design coordination, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout
- Serve as the primary client-facing leader, ensuring alignment, transparency, and long-term relationships
- Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, change management, and risk
- Drive safety culture, quality control, and best-in-class execution
- Coordinate with design partners in a design-build environment to ensure constructability and value engineering
- Mentor and develop project teams while fostering a high-performance culture
- Oversee subcontractor procurement, buyout, and on-site execution
- Ensure projects meet financial, operational, and strategic business objectives
🧰 Qualifications
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7 years of experience in commercial or industrial construction, preferably as a GC or Design-Build PM
- 3 years of experience delivering data center, mission-critical, or highly technical projects
- Strong understanding of full-scope construction delivery (civil, structural, architectural, MEP)
- Proven ability to manage large teams, complex schedules, and fast-paced builds
- Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management platforms (Procore, P6, Bluebeam, etc.)
- PMP, OSHA 30 preferred
- Willingness to travel as required
